We are seeking a reliable, motivated Independent Contractor to handle property preservation and maintenance for foreclosed properties in La junta and surrounding cities. Also from time time helping in Pueblo
This is a 1099 position. We need someone who can hit the ground running, manage their own schedule, and provide high-quality results with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Winterization: Full winterization of plumbing systems (draining lines, air-compressing systems, adding antifreeze to traps/toilets).
Debris Removal (Trash-outs): Removing interior and exterior debris to leave properties in "broom clean" condition.
Securing: Changing locks (re-keying), installing lockboxes, and boarding up windows/doors as needed.
Yard Maintenance: Initial lawn cuts and ongoing perimeter maintenance.
Documentation: Taking clear "Before, During, and After" photos of all work for client verification.
Requirements (Must Have):
Vehicle: Reliable truck and a trailer (minimum 12ft-16ft preferred) for hauling debris.
Tools: Must own basic hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and a portable air compressor for winterizations.
Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in property preservation, specifically winterization and REO standards.
Smart Phone: Ability to use apps and take high-quality photos for reporting.
Compensation:
Paid per work order / flat rate per task.
Fast turnaround on payments once work is verified.
