Position Overview
We’re seeking a Colorado-licensed Master Electrician to lead and oversee electrical work on a variety of projects. This position includes responsibility for supervising apprentices under the Colorado State Apprenticeship Program, with the authority to appoint and register apprentices in compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and perform electrical installations on utility and commercial projects
• Ensure all work meets NEC and Colorado state/local codes
• Pull permits and coordinate with local inspectors
• Supervise, train, and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians
• Manage apprentice registration and compliance under the Colorado apprenticeship program
• Collaborate with project managers and construction managers to deliver efficient, high-quality work
Requirements
• Current Colorado Master Electrician license (mandatory)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong understanding of NEC and Colorado electrical codes
• Experience managing and mentoring apprentices
• Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and leadership skills
Preferred Experience
• Utility-scale solar, battery storage, or EV charging systems
• Experience leading field crews or running projects independently
• Knowledge of renewable energy and grid interconnection systems
